manifesto

manifesto

We are a constellation of five artists, women, feminists, queer folx, non-binary folx, and anarchists.

We are anti-racist, abolitionist, anti-borders, and anti-capitalistic.

We make art to keep us all alive by churning/digesting the world and the million yous that are present in each moment

If it’s not a fuck yes it’s a no

A no is a positive

We don’t answer, we question

We encourage constant discovery

We redefine questions all the time

We ourstand each of us as new in the period of now

We meet you by facilitating the availability for constant redefinement and reiteration

We create from a place of urgency

The power of now

We create because we need to

In support of a pea-tree dish fostering unapologetic and playful humanity

We start by asking, what do you see

Our materials are our own bodies, emotions, histories, opinions, time, and space

What comes is the interaction of each

Making amalgam babies from interdisciplinary and multiplicitous parents

The project "one more time/ until when // thank you for calling, please hold the line," is a combination of long-durational performance and participatory installation, which is based on the theme of the "transitory waiting room." The original performance ran for three hours at Haus der Statistik in Berlin in July 2022. The 3-hour interplay of the dancers of dajci* collective, the musician Lukas Kannemann, and a waiting room questions and confronts us with our understanding of waiting. The collaborating artists utilize loops and repetitions to provoke a trance-like state, activating the passing of time into a landscape littered with persistence, frustration, boredom, curiosity, support, and collectivity. Time is everywhere here.
